Silhouette Portrait Artist

Portraits In Silhouette is the combined expertise of silhouette artists and mother-daughter team, Jean Comerford and Marcella Comerford-Foley. Portraits In Silhouette is focused on bringing you original, personalized work, full of inventive detail and creative spark. The silhouettes are never produced with a digital program, copied, or traced. You can expect a genuine, hand-cut, and individual portrait each time, with consideration for the subject’s character and those great details – capturing “what makes them who they are.” Whether that is a signature hairstyle, a cowlick, the way they hold their mouth, a bowtie, or glasses, we love to bring out the personality in our portraits.  Children of all ages including wigglers are welcome!

The sitting fee is $79.00 per child.  Each child requires his/her own sitting appointment.  Each appointment is approximately 15 minutes in length.  If you have more than one child, we recommend booking back-to-back time slots.

The $79.00 sitting fee includes two silhouettes of your child:  one facing right and one facing left.  Additional copies of portraits are $25.00 and may be purchased on the day of your sitting.  Frames are also available for purchase.

To ensure the safety of all visitors as well as our staff and volunteers: please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled time.  Interested in visiting the museum galleries? Admission is a separate charge.

All cancellations made within three days of the program are nonrefundable unless your reserved sitting time can be resold.
