Brown Bag Lunch: Storybook Quilts
December 15, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Calling all quilters! Do not miss the wonderful story behind one of the Wenham Museum’s most beloved quilt collections, the Storybook Quilts. Each storybook quilt recreates a children’s picture book. Created by the loving and talented hands of the Common Threads Quilt Guild, formerly of Topsfield, Massachusetts, these quilts have engaged and educated countless children across the North Shore. Nancy LeGendre, a founding member of the Common Threads Quilt Guild, will inspire you with stories of the Guild’s generosity in making these quilts, teaching young children, and ultimately in giving them to the Wenham Museum where the quilts can continue to connect with children and families.
To participate via Zoom, please register online using the “Buy Tickets” button below. If you plan to attend in person, you may register in advance or drop-in on the day of the program.
