Maintenance Shut Down Days

The Wenham Museum will be closed for maintenance and construction from Sunday, August 27, 2023 – Monday, September 11, 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our visitors and Members. We know that during this time between the end of summer camps and the start of school, many families are seeking local activities and we regret that we cannot be there for you during this time.
During this shutdown, we are reinstalling our main galleries, renovating our Lobby and Museum Shop, and making improvements to our exterior. This includes re-laying and expanding our walkway and installing a new patio, fencing, and a wooden climb-on train. We believe these many improvements will be much enjoyed by our visitors. In order to complete them efficiently and safely, a maintenance shutdown is the best course of action.
We look forward to seeing you when we reopen for our regularly scheduled ours on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10 a.m.
