Summer Camp Enrolling Now!
January 15
On January 15th, registration goes live Wenham Museum and WVIS members to enroll in summer camp, Camp Whirlygig! Enrollment for the general public opens on January 21st.
Camp Whirlygig is a summer camp at the Wenham Museum in partnership with the Wenham Village Improvement Society (WVIS). Geared to young campers ages 4 -10, Camp Whirlygig fosters fun, friendship, and curiosity. With a 1:5 counselor to camper ratio, a caring and supportive environment will create a comfortable summer camp experience for younger children.
Young campers will enjoy open-ended, child-centered arts enrichment in studio art, dance and drama; explorations related to museum exhibitions, local history, and culture; STEM and STEAM experiments; mindfulness and movement experiences designed to support emotional development; outdoor recreation and games; tennis; free play on the playground; and friendship-building activities within camper groups.
There is a half day or a full day option for camp. Early drop-off and late pick-up is available. Camp runs for six weeks from Monday, July 1st (no camp on July 4th & 5th) through Friday, August 9th.
