Wenham Museum is seeking passionate and community-minded individuals to join its Board of Trustees. The Museum invites leaders who believe in the power of history, culture and education to inspire and connect people of all ages.
As the Museum embarks on a period of growth and renewal, it is expanding its leadership network to include individuals who can serve as advocates, ambassadors, and philanthropic partners in advancing its mission. Trustees help guide the Museum’s strategic vision, strengthen relationships with the community, and ensure the Museum has the resources and visibility needed to thrive for generations to come.

The Wenham Museum seeks individuals who bring diverse perspectives, professional expertise, and a collaborative spirit. Ideal candidates are curious, community-oriented, and committed to supporting the Museum through leadership, advocacy, and philanthropy.
About the Role
Trustees act as ambassadors for the Museum—sharing its story, connecting it to new audiences, and helping sustain its programs and exhibitions. Trustees hold fiduciary and governance responsibilities, contributing their time, talent, and resources to advance the Museum’s mission.

Interested candidates are invited to submit a brief statement of interest and résumé by December 7, 2025 to info@wenhammuseum.org. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by the Museum’s leadership and the Board’s Governance Committee.
