In this book\, Pete and his family go camping.  Pete can’t wait to go hiking\, fishing\, and eat s’mores by the campfire. But when he hears about the mysterious creature named Bigfoot\, Pete can’t help but wonder: Is Bigfoot real?  Join us as Pete goes camping for the first time and overcomes some of his fears. \nOur M is for Museum friends will read A Camping Spree with Mr. Magee by Chris Van Dusen.  In this wonderful rhyming tale\, Mr. Magee and his trusty dog\, Dee\, are enjoying a peaceful camping trip when along comes a lumbering\, marshmallow-loving bear and the excitement begins. The next thing the two campers know\, they are plunging down a mountain\, racing down a river\, and teetering on the edge of a waterfall! DESCRIPTION:Visit the Museum Creation Station and play\, make\, and create!  While the museum’s main galleries are being reinstalled over the next few weeks\, we’re putting all of our most popular interactive exhibit items in Burnham Hall.  You can still play with the ice house\, ride our ponies\, and play with our train table when you visit the museum.  To round out the fun\, we’re also putting out a Maker Station full of paper\, glue\, table\, ribbon\, carboard and so much more.  All you need to bring is your imagination to make an amazing creation or piece of art that you can bring home. \nMuseum Creation Station is included with admission and free for Members.  It will be open and available any time the museum is open from August 23rd – 27th and September 6th – 10th. \nNote:  Wenham Museum will be closed for its annual maintenance shutdown week from Sunday\, August 28th – Monday\, September 5th (Labor Day).  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
