Calling all LEGO fans – we’re excited to welcome the LEGO Train back to the Wenham Museum this February!  \nCome see a rainbow colored\, L-gauge model train speeding along a brick track as it races by soaring skyscrapers\, country cottages\, mountainside ski slopes and much more.  The LEGO Train is designed with the highest degree of precision (and a sense of humor!) by the New England LEGO Users Group (NELUG).  \nSpecial Thanks to the New England LEGO Users Group (NELUG) for sharing their fantastic creations with us!  \nMUSEUM MEMBERS: We once again are offering MEMBER ONLY HOURS on Sunday\, February 16 from 10 AM until noon.  \nSave time afterwards to explore the rest of the museum galleries included in your ticket price.

DESCRIPTION:Program Details\nFriday\, February 23\, 2024\n11 AM (SOLD OUT)\, 11:30 AM (SOLD OUT)\, 12:00 PM\, or 12:30 PM \n\n$10 Member Children/Adults/Seniors\n$14 Nonmember Children/Adults/Seniors\n\nAdvanced Reservations Required for each 30 minute presentation \nLet’s learn about whales! Walk inside a giant\, inflatable humpback whale to learn more about these magnificent creatures. Learning about whales is also a great way to think critically about what you can do to help the wild world and our oceans. \nProgram participants will be sent an introductory video prior to the program date about whales and The Whalemobile. (This video will also be available for viewing inside the museum.) On February 24th\, participants will have a 30 minute visit seated inside a giant\, inflatable humpback whale with a naturalist and educator to learn about whales. This program shows how owls use their specialized powers of sight\, hearing and flight to survive and thrive. A wealth of fact and folklore about these masters of the dark explains the natural and unnatural history of owls. A variety of live owls provides the focus of the presentation. Learn more about Wingmasters at http://www.wingmasters.net/ \nThis program is recommended for children age 5 and up. It is important that guests remain seated for the duration of the 50 minute program to create a comfortable atmosphere for the birds. \nPlease check-in at the Desk upon arrival: 15 minutes before the start of the program. \nWe invite you to visit the museum galleries after your scheduled time.
