DESCRIPTION:Bestselling children’s book author Sherri Duskey Rinker will be visiting the Wenham Museum during her 2023 national book tour!  In celebration of our new exhibit\, Sherri will be reading her book\, Steam Train\, Dream Train\, and reading her new book\, Construction Site: Taking Flight!. Sherri will be signing books as well.  Her books are available for preorder online through the Museum Shop.  Sherri’s books will also be available for sale in the museum shop. All shop sales go towards our special programs. \nTHIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. Thank you for your interest. \nThe program begins at 10:30 a.m.. Members’ tickets are $6 per person and nonmembers’ tickets are $12 per person (ages 1 and up). Space is limited\, so book today. The ticket price includes museum admission. \nIllustrations by Tom Lichtenheld from Sherri’s book Steam Train\, Dream Train are on exhibit in the museum’s main galleries this year.  Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see these wonderful original works!

DESCRIPTION:The LEGO Train is FREE for Wenham Museum Members!  While Members can visit the LEGO Train at any time\, we’re pleased to offer Members-Only hours the morning of Sunday\, October 22 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. \n== \nEVERYTHING IS AWESOME! Calling all LEGO fans – we’re excited to welcome the LEGO Train back to the Wenham Museum for a special fall-time visit!  Watch a rainbow colored\, L-gauge model train speeding along a brick track as it races by soaring skyscrapers\, country cottages\, mountainside ski slopes and much more. All features are designed with the highest degree of precision (and a sense of humor!) by the New England LEGO Users Group (NELUG). Some Halloween-themed surprises will be included in this fantastical LEGO display. \nSpecial Thanks to the New England LEGO Users Group (NELUG) for sharing their creations with us!
