DESCRIPTION:Ed the Wizard is back!! The Alchemy Laboratory is where Harry Potter meets real science! \n\n\nAlchemy Class is about to begin\, and magical secrets are about to be shared! Enter the Alchemy Laboratory of Ed the Wizard. Watch\, volunteer\, and learn as we perform vanishes\, transfigurations\, and other feats of magic with everyday items found at home. We will use three of the four Classical Greek Elements\, Earth\, Wind\, and Water (sorry – no Fire!). Using real science such as Bernoulli’s Principle\, Electromagnetism\, and Optical effects\, learn how to defy gravity\, move objects with your mind\, change the properties of water\, look through solid objects\, and more. Participants are challenged with questions about alchemy\, scientific principles\, and their general knowledge of the physical world. \nRecommended for ages 6 and up. DESCRIPTION:Online Sales are no longer available.  Tickets are available at the door for $18 per person (adults and children ages 1 year and up) for members and nonmembers. Doors open at 10 a.m.  \nRing in the New Year at the Wenham Museum! With music\, movement\, performance\, and art we will welcome 2023 in a fun and family-friendly way. We’ll countdown to “midnight” at 12 p.m. with streamers and a balloon drop!
