During this workshop participants will have the opportunity to meet the “educated” hens from Waltham Fieods Community Farm and learn all about the fascinating world of chickens and eggs. Dig through our healthy soil straight from the organic farm and Learning Garden at Waltham Fields Community Farm and see how many different bugs\, worms\, and composting creatures you can find! DESCRIPTION:$10 Member Children/Adults/Seniors \n$14 Nonmember Children/Adults/Seniors  \nReservations Reccomended\, Drop-in anytime between 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.  \nJoin our friends from Lupine Lane Apiary as we learn all about bees!  Where they live\, what they eat\, and how we collect honey and beeswax from them.  We will also learn about beekeeping and see and touch real beekeeping equipment. Everyone gets to make a beeswax candle to take home! Suitable for all ages.
