Pears & Bears Fashion Show & Cupcake Tea Party Sunday, September 12, 2pm (Grandparents Day) Members: $12 child, $15 adult Non-Members: $14 child, $17 adult Enjoy an afternoon of fashion and fun with your children or grandchildren as you preview a charming collection of children's apparel and classic women's clothing and accessories created by Pears and Bears fashion Designer Kayce Huges (niece of Lily Pulitzer). Traditionally styled fall fashions for women ad children from smocked dresses for fall to fun and fancy holiday outfits modeled by North Shore families. Enjoy Tabitha Sherrell's gallery of children's photographs. Sittings available by appointment. Photography on view in Burnham Hall September 8-12. Attic Treasures Sale Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26 10 am - 4 pm Shop the North Shore's best rummage sale for small furniture, china, silver, home decor, books, gently used clothing and more. Call the museum to donate to the sale. All proceeds directly benefit the museum's educational exhibitions and programs. Night at the (Wenham) Museum Friday, October 22, 6:30 - 8:30 pm Members: $8 (4 for $26), Non-members: $12 (4 for $40) Museum collections come to life in a magical evening of mystery, theater,and surprise. Wear your Halloween costume and take a spooky moonlit tour of the museum’s c1690 Clafl in-Richards House, set off on a treasure hunt and enjoy seasonal treats. Sleigh Bell Preview Party Friday, November 19, 6:30–8:30 pm $20 per person, $30 for two Wine, nibbles and private shopping Sleigh Bell Artisan Fair November 19, 20 & 21 Find one-of-a-kind gifts crafted by the North Shore’s best juried artisans in a festive atmosphere. Bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the 15th Annual Holiday Toy Drive sponsored by Senator Bruce Tarr and WBOQ. Wenham Museum's 4th Annual Gingerbread Contest December 1-18 Bakers start your ovens! Amateur and professional bakers are invited to enter an 18x18 gingerbread creation to be displayed in The Gingerbread Express model train layout December 4-18. There will be a gingerbread construction workshop on Thursday, December 2 at 6:30pm, Girl Scout cookie decorating on Sunday, December 5 and, Gingerbread Mouse Merriment with author and illustrator Katie Bratun on Wednesday, December 8. North Shore Design Show: Favorite Spaces Proceeds of this event benefit the museum’s educational exhibitions and enrichment programming serving over 35,000 annual visitors and 4,500 school children.
