Listen as the train goes clickety-clack. Thank you to the New England Lego Users Group for creating this amazing room-size model train layout made completely out of Lego Bricks on display ONE WEEKEND ONLY! Mardi-Gras Mask Making Tuesday, February 16, 10-12pm Free with admission Make a mask to wear at home or at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library Mardi-Gras party, from 1-4pm. Lego ® Palooza III Thursday, February 18, 1pm and 2pm (Two sessions) Free with admission; pre-register to secure spot. Bring your Lego design team to this brick-fest of fun and build whatever you can imagine. Paper Capers with Giles Laroche Thursday, February 28, 1pm Free with admission; pre-registration recommended Be amazed as renowned children's book illustrator Giles Laroche bring his cut-paper illustrations to life. Try your hand at the art of paper relief in an afternoon of family fun. Following the presentation, Mr. Laroche will sign copies of What Do Wheels Do All Day? (ages 3-7)and What's Inside? Fascinating Structure Around the World (ages 8-12). Silhouette Artist Friday April 23, 1-3 and Saturday, April 24, 10-3 Silhouette portraits make wonderful keepsake gifts to be treasured for many generations. Wenham Museum is proud to announce a guest visit from well-known New England silhouette artist, Carol Lebeaux. For many years Ms. Lebeaux has been cutting portrait silhouettes working directly from the sitting model and profile portraits. Your silhouettes will be mounted on ivory color acid-free mats and framed in ready to hang frames. The museum is currently talking appointments for 10 minute sittings and will accept profile photographs to create silhouettes the day of the event.
