Join us for our annual celebration of nature and woodland magic as we welcome summer to the museum! This day of activities will send your little elves and fairies alight as they explore our fairy garden and create their own treasures to take home.

Bring a picnic lunch to eat at our enchanted toadstool tables and grab a cookie AND ice cream for dessert from food vendors, Pure Pastry or Street Treats.

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Activities and crafts will run all day, as well as:

Face painting with Erin Flynn of Flynntastic Faces

Food vendors: Kim’s Pure Pastry and Street Treats

Artisan crafters: My Pretty Peggy and My Story Stones with Mango Joy

11:00 AM: Dance along to music by Karen K & the Jitterbugs

12:30 – 3:00 PM: Stories, Parachute Games & Flying Lessons, and Music and Movement with Jape Payette of Japescape Productions

Over 60 vendors and artisans…lawn games and children’s Activities…face painting….petting zoo … The Music Man… live music from Time and Again singing ‘decades of hits’… free tours of the historic Claflin-Gerrish-Richards House.. open houses at the Wenham Fire Department and Wenham Town Hall… and free admission to the Wenham Museum!

Food trucks and craft beer.

One of the North Shore’s finest craft fairs featuring the region’s best artisans offering unique hand crafted items, family activities, and the free entry to the museum galleries.

In April and September of each year, the museum hosts the Attic Treasures sale to support its mission. This sale is an eclectic blend of vintage, resale, and whimsical finds for the bargain-hunter or “DIY” diva in us all.

To donate your gently used treasures to the Attic Treasures sale, please call Cheryl Emmons, Trustee, at (978) 853-0711.  Please do not bring donations to the Wenham Museum.

SLEIGH BELL ARTISAN FAIR

Free Admission to Fair 

Each November, the Wenham Museum hosts this festive fair of hand-crafted artisan goods. This is a fine occasion to bring the whole family to the museum for a day of fun. Exhibits will be open with special programming and activities for the kids and shopping for the adults.

Shop small and shop local while supporting a great cause- participating artisans generously donate 20% of their sales proceeds to benefit the Wenham Museum’s operating budget.
